India: Raipur wire rod offers rise by up to INR 2,500/t

Suppliers in Raipur have raised wire rod offers by INR 2,000-2,500/t on 10 Oct’21, with trades reported even on Sunday.

• IF wire rod (5.5mm) trade reported at around INR 53,000-53,500/t, rebar (12-25 mm) at INR 50,100-50,300/t, sponge P-DRI at INR 34,000-34,300/t, and billet at INR 48,000-48,100/t – all exw-Raipur.
• Mills are likely to quote prices higher by INR 500-700/t today on sufficient orders received yesterday.
