Wire rod market in Raipur, Chhattisgarh witnessed need-based buying in today’s trading session. In the first half, buyers bargained hard to procure at low prices amid sluggish sentiments. However, as sentiments improved in the second half, suppliers started quoting slightly high offers. Around 3,850 t deals were reported in Raipur and Raigarh markets at INR 51,500-52,000/t on exw and FOR basis.
