SteelMint’s assessment for Raipur sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) rose by INR 200/t to INR 30,500/t exw. Improved demand on rising billet offers, resulted in the price hike today. Suppliers expect further surge in prices due to limited supply, stocks at plants.
- Around 4,000 t of P-DRI deals were reported at INR 30,300-30,500/t on exw and FOR Raipur basis. Some unconfirmed deals were heard at INR 30,600/t exw.
