India: Ferro silicon prices rise by 24%, w-o-w

Ferro silicon producers in Guwahati have raised their offers on increased imported ferro silicon prices from China and lower supply from Bhutan. Current assessments are at INR 194,850/t ex-Guwahati and INR 188,800/t ex-Bhutan. However, offer prices are increasing and Indian producers are reluctant to sell in anticipation of further price hikes. Most producers are offering at INR 200,000/t and expect prices to increase further.
