SteelMint’s benchmark sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) prices rose by INR 100/t to INR 29,100/t exw Raipur on 12 Jul’21. Prices moved up due to a surge in billet prices by INR 250/t. However, the majority of buyers were looking to conclude bookings at prices lower than prevailing offers.
- About 2,000 t of P-DRI deals were reported at INR 29,000-29,200/t as against offers of INR 29,300-500/t exw and FoR Raipur.
