A few mid-sized rolling mills in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, have decreased rebar (10-25mm) offers by up to INR 800/t, d-o-d, to INR 49,500-49,900/t. Prices have decreased due to lack of bookings in the pipeline and revised prices corrected due to the unviable conversion spread from semi-finished steel to rebar, which is currently hovering at INR 2,500/t, SteelMint understands.
