India: Raipur based re-rollers raise rebar offers by up to INR 500/t

Mid-scale rolling mills in Raipur, Chhattisgarh have increased rebar (10-25mm) offers by up to INR 500/t d-o-d to INR 45,500/t. Prices have been increased to improve conversion spread from billet to rebar which was recorded around INR 2,200-2,400/t before price hike which is quite lower than the required conversion, SteelMint understands.
