R. Praveen Chandra had conducted an auction for 19,250 t of iron ore lumps from Chitradurga district in Karnataka on 9 Oct’24. According to sources, 3,850 t of lumps (6-30 mm, Fe 54.6%) were booked at the base price of INR 4,100/t and another 15,400 t lumps (6-30 mm, Fe 59.5%) were booked at the base price of INR 5,475/t. Prices include royalty, DMF and NMET.
