India: Production of SECL’s Dipka mine falls 21% y-o-y

The Dipka mine of South Eastern Coalfields Ltd (SECL) has managed a coal production of 14 mnt in FY23 (up to 28 Nov’22), registering a fall of 21% y-o-y. In contrast, SECL’s Gevra and Kusmunda mines produced 30 mnt and 20.45 mnt in the period, up 37% and 35% y-o-y, respectively. These mega mines have set production target of 135 mnt for FY23, which is 75% of SECL’s target.
