Prakash Industries has secured long-term coal linkage of 0.8 mn t for its captive power plant at the recently concluded Tranche-V auctions by Coal India Ltd (CIL). The company operates an integrated steel facility in Chhattisgarh. The linkage will provide uninterrupted coal supply for the next five years. Earlier, the company had won 0.54 mn t of coal linkages for its captive plant in Jun’17.
