In a confirmed deal, 4,000 t of South African RB2 (5500 NAR) grade coal was sold at INR 15,200/t at Gangavaram Port. Interest from sponge iron manufacturers continues to remain limited, as they are waiting for further price corrections. RB1 (6000 NAR) grade coal prices fell further for Nov’21 to $179/t, down by $35/t w-o-w.
