A Pellet maker based in Barbil has further cut down prices by INR 200/MT on the backdrop of sluggish demand. Fe 63% Pellet is being offered at INR 6,000/MT*. Buyers in Barbil are looking for Pellets at the level of INR 5,600-5,700/MT*. As Odisha based miners are continuously reducing Iron ore prices, so buyers are waiting to take a call on prices.
On the other side, Pellet prices in other regions like Durgapur and Jharsuguda have resisted further decline. Pellet prices in Tatanagar are hovering in the range of INR 6,100-6,400/MT (basic) for Fe 64/63%. While, offers in Raipur are heard to be around INR 7,000-7,100/MT (ex-plant).
