Steel wire rod demand remained active in Raipur market. Over 7,500 t deals have been concluded today by Raipur, Raigarh and Odisha suppliers in the price range of INR 52,800-53,200/t exw and FOR basis. Market sentiments remained positive with the sharp rise in raw material (sponge iron and billets) prices in key markets, resulting in active procurement, SteelMint learned.
