SAIL conducted an auction for 60,000 t iron ore from its Bolani mines on 8 Apr’26. Around 20,000 t dump fines (Fe 62.62%) was sold at INR 5,525/t against base price of INR 5,225/t and 36,000 t iron ore CLO (10-40 mm, Fe 62%) was sold at base price of INR 6,775/t. Prices were on ex-mines/FOR loaded into rake basis and included royalty, DMF, NMET, and additional premium.
