NMDC auctioned 28,000-t iron ore from Donimalai, Karnataka, on 22 Jul’25. The entire quantity was booked, with 20,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 56%) sold at INR 3,512/t (INR 40/t premium) and 8,000-t fines (Fe 56%) at INR 2,842/t (base price). On 15 Jul’25, a similar volume was auctioned, fetching premiums of INR 118/t and INR 25/t for lumps and fines, respectively. Prices include royalty, DMF, and NMET.
