India: Over 200,000 t of iron ore lumps booked from Karnataka in auctions on 5 Dec’22

Vedanta auction for sale of around 36,000 t of iron ore lumps (6-20 mm, Fe58-60%) was sold at INR 3,831/t against the base price of 3,312-3,371/t.
JSW auction of around 180,000 t of iron ore (10-40 mm, Fe53-54%) was sold at INR 1,805/t while the base price was at INR 1,775/t.
BKG Mining’s 56,000 t of iron ore auction failed to attract buyers. All prices are exclusive of royalty, DMF, and NMET.
