India: JSW Steel’s crude steel output rises 16% y-o-y in Nov’22

Steel major JSW Steel’s crude steel production rose by 16% y-o-y to 1.69 mnt in Nov’22 against 1.46 mnt in Nov’21, as per company reports. However, output dropped by 5% m-o-m from 1.77 mnt a month ago.

Product-wise production in Nov’22:

• Flat rolled steel: 1.186 mnt, up 19% y-o-y.
• Long rolled steel: 347,000 t, up 5% y-o-y.
