Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) clocked 26% growth in minerals production in the Jul-Sept’20 quarter over Apr-Jul’20. Production of iron ore, chrome ore and bauxite was recorded at 1.9 mn t in Q2 FY21 against 1.5 mn t in the preceding quarter due mainly to optimised mining operations. Sources in the company revealed that further production ramp-up is on the cards to meet OMC’s 2020-21 target.
