State-owned miner OMC has raised the base price for its upcoming chrome ore auction on 19 May’22 by 8% over the previous auction on 18 April. The base price for the auction has been increased in line with the rise in domestic ferro chrome prices and amid increased imported chrome ore prices (up by 17% m-o-m in May), sources informed.
