Jindal SAW has decreased pellet offers sharply today. The current offer for Fe 63% pellet stands at INR 12,800/t ($165/t) DAP Kandla compared to offers of INR 13,200/t ($170/t) heard in the middle of Apr’22. Around 15,000-20,000 t of deals were recorded at INR 12,800/t. Declining offers in eastern and southern India along with the drop in sponge iron prices resulted in the reduction in offers, SteelMint notes.
