Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) is to conduct its national Iron ore e-auction on 27 Jan, 2015 and is offering 387,000 MT of raw material.
The second online auction of Iron ore is to be conducted on 27 Jan, 2015 by Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) for 149,000 MT Iron ore lump and 238,000 MT Iron ore fines through MSTC. Material is available at different Iron ore mines of OMC in Barbil, Gandhamardan and Daitari region of Odisha.
MSTC will conduct two different e-auctions on 27 Jan, 2015. The sale of 238,000 MT Iron ore lump is restricted for end-users only. Whereas, sale of Iron ore fines is open for all type of purchasers.
Bidder has to quote for basic price in INR per MT, which will be inclusive of royalty and exclusive of Cess and other statutory duties & levies. Bidders have to quote for minimum quantity of 1,000 MT and multiple of 1,000 MT for both the auctions.

Note: In the first e-auction, the company had earmarked 417,000 MT Iron ore fines and 365,000 MT Iron ore lump of different grades, which was conducted on 27 & 28 Oct, 2014. Companies that had actively participated in the last e-auction were Monnet Ispat, Visa Steel, Rashmi Metaliks, MSP, Ganesh Sponge and KJS Ahluwalia.
