India: NSPCL invites Bid for Purchase of 0.78 MnT Imported Coal

NTPC-SAIL Power Company Private Limited (NSPCL) has invited bid from eligible bidders for procurement of 0.78 MnT imported Steam Coal in Chhattisgarh.

 NSPCL, a joint venture of NTPC & SAIL, has invited bid for purchase of imported Steam Coal for Bhilai Power plant located in Durg, Chhattisgarh on FOR basis through Indian ports.

Bidder’s scope of work shall be stevedoring, handling, arranging vessel & rakes, transportation and delivery etc.

General Conditions

• Bidders should have an experience of import/export, handling, dispatch through railway and supplying one or multiple contracts of dry bulk (solid) commodities such as Coal, Iron ore, fertilizers, chemicals, cement etc for 0.31 MnT (minimum) in any continuous 12 months during last 3 fiscal years reckoned from tender publishment date
• Bidders should have average annual turnover of not less than INR 1,382 million in past 3 fiscal years as on the tender publishment date

Total Quantity: 0.78 MnT +/- 10%

 Unloading:  NSPCL will unload Coal at Bhilai Power plant.
