India: NMDC’s iron ore production rises by over 20%, y-o-y, in FY’22

  • India’s top iron ore miner, NMDC, recorded production at 42.15 mnt in FY’22, higher by 23% y-o-y from 34.15 mnt in the year-ago period.
  • Production in Mar’22 stood at 4.98 mnt, up 15% on month compared to 4.31 mnt in Feb.
  • Sales, too, increased by 22% at 40.7 mnt in FY’22.
