India: NMDC’s iron ore production rises by 18% to 3.95 mn t in Dec’21

  • NMDC’s iron ore production stood at 3.95 mn t in Dec’21, up 18% m-o-m from 3.34 mn t in Nov.
  • Production in Apr-Dec’21 stood at 28.32 mn t, higher by 30% y-o-y compared to 21.83 mn t in the same period of CY’20.
  • Sales, too, increased by 18% on the month to 3.40 mn t in Dec.
