The two-day nationwide strike of thousands of workers from state-owned SAIL, RINL and NMDC ended yesterday. NMDC is all set to normalise production and dispatches through rakes from both Chhattisgarh and Karnataka which were impacted for the past two days. The company recorded iron ore output at 37.18 mnt in the Apr’21-Feb’22 period, a growth of 26% as against 29.52 mnt in the corresponding period last year.
