NMDC conducted an auction for 26,000 t of iron ore pellets (6-16 mm, Fe 63%) from its Donimalai plant in Bellary on 14 Oct’24. According to sources, the entire quantity was booked at INR 9,580-9,600/t against the base price of INR 9,200/t, which was set on ex-pellet plant (FOT) basis, excluding taxes. Notably, bid prices were higher by INR 380-400/t.
