India: NMDC Donimalai’s iron ore auction sees active response

NMDC conducted an iron ore auction from its Donimalai mines, Karnataka, on 20 Nov’24.

• 36,000-t fines (Fe 59%) booked at INR 4,075/t against the base price of INR 4,015/t.
• 12,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 59%) booked at INR 4,888/t against the base price of INR 4,728/t.

Prices include royalty, DMF, and NMET. Bids for fines and lumps were higher by INR 60/t and INR 160/t, respectively.
