“Steel grade Pig Iron price is unchanged at Rs 24,000/MT (Ex works Cuttack) at Neelachal Ipat Nigam Limited for October.
We are maintaining prices as demand has been stable for sometime and are hopeful of an improved market scenario, confirmed a senior official at NINL.
“Our production of Pig Iron is around 55,000-60,000 tons per month for now.
Currenly, we are not exporting Pig Iron as rupee is high at 51 levels against dollar and might touch 50 levels in the coming two to three months.
Some exports will be planned, provided Pig Iron prices move up in the international market”, he added.
