India: Nearly 100,000 t of iron ore fetch bids at SAIL auctions

Around 95,000 t of iron ore were booked at SAIL’s auctions.

• Bolani: 55,000-t CLO (Fe 61.1-62%, 10-40 mm) booked at INR 6,200-6,725/t (base prices INR 6,200-6,675/t) on 19-22 Jan; 20,000-t dump fines (Fe 61.4%) were booked at INR 5,450/t (INR 300/t premium) on 22 Jan.
• Barsua: 20,000-t CLO (Fe 60%, 10-40 mm) were sold at INR 5,950/t (INR 450/t premium) on 21 Jan.

Prices are inclusive of royalty.
