India: NCL achieves highest single-day coal dispatches in FY23

Coal India subsidiary Northern Coalfields Ltd (NCL) has registered coal dispatches at 0.414 mnt on 7 July, the highest in a single day in FY23. Of this, coal to the tune of 0.383 mnt was supplied to the power sector which is an all-time high. Till date, NCL has dispatched an average of 0.38 mnt coal/day in July, up 17% y-o-y.
