Induction-route steel wire rod prices in Raipur moved up further to INR 55,500/t exw while trade discounts were heard at INR 500/t. Trading continued to remain moderate and about 3,000 t transactions were concluded today. The consistent rise in raw material prices and active demand was the key reason behind the hike in wire rod prices.
