India: MSTC to Conduct Auction for Sale of Iron Ore

Metal Scrap Trade Corporation (MSTC) invites bid for sale of Iron ore from different Iron ore mines/stockyard in Karnataka.

The e-auction is for registered Steel, Pig iron, Pelletization, Sponge iron and Beneficiation plants which have been wholly/partly dependent on Iron ore from Karnataka for their own use.

The three auctions are schedule on 08, 12 & 13 May, 2014.

Auction 1

• Iron ore fines: 236,000 MT
• Iron ore lumps: 232,000 MT
• Total quantity: 468,000 MT
• Location: NMDC Donimalai Mines (Karnataka)
  Bid submission date: Before 14.00 hrs on 08 May, 2014
  Bid opening time: 16.00 hrs on 08 May, 2014

Auction 2

• Iron ore fines: 180,000 MT
• Iron ore lumps: 36,000 MT
• Iron ore ROM: 332,000 MT
• Total quantity: 548,000 MT
• Location: Various stock holders in Karnataka
  Bid submission date: 14.00 hrs on 12 May, 2014
  Bid opening time: 16.00 hrs on 12 May, 2014

Auction 3

• Iron ore fines:  40,000 MT
• Iron ore ROM: 540,000 MT
• Total quantity: 548,000 MT
• Location: Various mines/stock holders
  Bid submission date: Before 14.00 hrs on 12 May, 2014
  Bid opening time: 11.00 hrs on 13 May, 2014

Royalty, Forest Development Tax, Sales tax, Cess and other statutory duties & levies etc applicable at the time of supplies will be extra and payable by the successful bidder.
