Indian medium and small scale manufacturers have reported mixed market sentiments this week. On one side, prices have increased in West and South India. On the other, East region have registered downturn movement.
Light and heavy structure prices in Ahmedabad and Hyderabad have gained by INR 500/MT. While in Durgapur and Mumbai offers plunged by INR 500/MT and INR 200/MT respectively.
In a week, billet prices have increased by INR 200-500/MT and presently hovering within INR 23,800-28,100/MT; lowest in Jharsugda and highest in Mandi Gobindgarh.
Structure angle makers are offering 100×100 mm material in Durgapur at INR 30,250/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 30,500/MT, Raipur at INR 28,300/MT and Hyderabad at INR 30,500/MT.
However, prices of channel and beam in Ghaziabad have remained stable at INR 33,000/MT (200×75 mm) and INR 32,500/MT (200×100 mm).
Currently, 200×75 mm channel is being offered in Durgapur at INR 29,250/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 30,700/MT, Mumbai at INR 31,300/MT and in Raipur at INR 28,300/MT.
Heavy 200×100 mm beam are evaluated in Durgapur at INR 29,250/MT, Ghaziabad at INR 32,500/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 30,500/MT, Mumbai at INR 31,900/MT and in Raipur at INR 27,800/MT.
