A few mid-sized rolling mills in Raipur, Chhattisgarh have reduced rebar (10-25mm) offers by up to INR 900/t, d-o-d, to INR 48,100/t (excluding GST and loading charges). Despite constrained capacity utilisation by mills, inventory levels have increased, d-o-d, due to the imbalance in demand and supply amidst poor order bookings.
