Mill scale (Fe 68-70%) prices in Kandla increased by INR 300/t ($3/t) to INR 7,900/t DAP today. Deals for around 8,700 t were concluded at INR 7,800-8,000/t DAP. Export deals for around 25,000 t were reported by an exporter but are yet to be confirmed. Active demand from exporters, combined with a shortage of materials, drove prices up.
