A majority of Indian met coke producers increased their blast furnace coke (64% CSR) offers to INR 60,000/t in the eastern and western regions of the country. The hike is aligned with the surge in imported coking coal prices, which are currently trending at $655/t levels for Australian premium material. Domestic met coke prices have risen by INR 10,000/t over a month and are INR 30,000/t higher on a y-o-y basis.
