India’s met coke imports increased by 36% to 3.36 mnt in CY22, as per CoalMint data. Imports in December rose by 14% m-o-m to 410,000 t. The hike in imports came amid cheaper availability of met coke from China. The highest shipments were recorded from China and Poland.
