Melting scrap prices witnessed minor changes today, as per SteelMint assessment. While prices saw an uptick in a few markets due to improving sponge iron and semi-finished steel prices, in the Gujarat market scrap prices had to be adjusted owing to correction in prices of semis. Minor changes in prices are likely in the near term, trade sources informed SteelMint.
