Steel melting scrap prices witnessed minor changes across regions in the country on 20 Apr’22, as per SteelMint reports. Melting scrap prices saw an uptick in western India-based Alang market due to supply shortage while prices in other locations inched lower owing to lack of firm demand and following correction in semi-finished steel prices. Scrap prices may remain range-bound in the short term, trade sources informed SteelMint.
