Global aluminium production increases over 11% m-o-m in Mar’22

• Global primary aluminium production rose by 11.23% in Mar’22 to 5.69 mnt against 5.11 mnt in Feb’22, as per the International Aluminium Institute (IAI).
• China emerged as the largest producer with an estimated 3.29 mnt, accounting for 58% of global aluminium production, as per monthly estimated figures.
• Russia’s and Eastern Europe’s combined production stood at 0.35 mnt in Mar’22, recording a positive growth of 11.46% against 0.314 mnt in the previous month.
