Shipbreaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market increased by INR 500/t d-o-d. Prices fluctuated throughout the day and moderate buying enquiries in semi-finished steel and melting scrap on the last trading session along with shortage of scrap material helped suppliers to keep offers high. However, scrap prices witnessed disparity in bids and offers today.
