Melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market remained range-bound over the last couple of days. Prices have inched up INR 100/t today. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 40,300/t, while attachment scrap prices are at INR 41,300/t exy. In the last few days, sellers have adjusted trade prices in view of the movement of semis and finished steel in the region.
