Atanu Bhowmick has assumed charge as Director In-charge of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) on 11 Feb’22. Prior to joining RSP, Bhowmick was Executive Director (Works) of SAIL, Bokaro Steel Plant. Bhowmick joined SAIL-RSP in 1988 after completing his B.Tech in Metallurgy from NIT, Rourkela. His first posting was in the blast furnace department of RSP, where he worked for 29 years, serving in various capacities.
