Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market increased by INR 400/t d-o-d, as per SteelMint assessment. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 45,200/t ex-yard. Despite limited trades in semis and finished steel in western region, scrap suppliers witnessed moderate buying enquiries in the last trading session which prompted them to raise their offers today.
