Melting scrap prices increased by INR 300/t today in Alang, Gujarat. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 40,500/t, while attachment scrap prices stand at INR 41,500/t exy. Improved buying enquiries and recovery in semi-finished and finished steel transactions in the region prompted scrap suppliers to raise offers slightly, SteelMint learnt from sources.
