Melting scrap prices in Alang fell by INR 400/t to INR 36,600/t exw for HMS (80:20) grade. Fall in spot semi-finished and finished steel prices yesterday amid lack of transactions put pressure on scrap suppliers to slash offers today. Material availability on the market remains moderate, trader sources based in the region informed.
