Domestic melting scrap prices remained supportive across major markets on 22 Mar’22 following hike in semi-finished steel prices except in Mumbai market where prices saw a noticeable increase due to supply shortage. However, in Ahmedabad market, prices slightly corrected due to lack of demand amidst labour shortage in the steel industries, sources informed.
