Aluminium scrap import offers witnessed a significant improvement on a w-o-w basis on strengthening futures prices along with supportive warehouse stock levels. However, buyers resisted to procure at higher levels. There were limited transactions owing to high fluctuations in exchange prices. Middle East-origin aluminium tense scrap offers were at $2,210-2,240/t, taint tabor at $2,600-2,620/t and extrusion at $2,960-2,980/t, CFR Nhavasheva.
