Melting Scrap prices in Alang fell further by INR 100/t on 22 Dec’21. The trade reference price of HMS (80:20) is assessed at INR 36,200/t, while attachment scrap prices are at INR 37,200/t. Scrap prices have edged down on account of falling steel billet prices due to limited demand for finished steel products.
