Shipbreaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market dropped INR 300/t d-o-d, as per SteelMint assessment. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 42,200/t ex-yard. Semi-finished steel prices fell in major markets of India yesterday and limited trading activities at current prices forced suppliers in Alang to reduce their offers today.
